Preparation:

Beat the butter and sugar until smooth, then add the egg yolks, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, flour and mix until smooth.

Dust the table with flour, roll out the dough, cut into shapes with a biscuit cutter and place in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes to harden and hold its shape during baking.

Preheat the oven to 180/160C, place the molds on baking paper and bake on the middle shelf for 8-12 minutes.

For the white paste to decorate, beat powdered sugar and egg whites until a thick mass is obtained.

Be sure to cool the cookies before decorating.
